Standing Committee weekly session: finalize next week's plenary agenda and accelerate sixth session priorities

Mogadishu, Somalia – 22 May 2025: The Standing Committee of the House of the People held its regular weekly meeting at Villa Hargeisa, chaired by the Speaker, H.E. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe), with both Deputy Speakers in attendance. The committee reviewed legislative priorities that must be addressed before the conclusion of the sixth parliamentary session and approved the agenda and timetable for the upcoming plenary sittings. The Speaker urged members to accelerate the House’s work to deliver tangible results.
