Mogadishu, Somalia – 06 May 2025: The Budget, Finance, Planning, International Cooperation, and Oversight of Public Institutions Committee met with the Minister of Finance, Hon. Bihi Imaan Ege, at Villa Hargeisa. The session covered fiscal policy, domestic revenue mobilization, the 2025 quarterly revenue and expenditure report, and the finalized audited financial accounts for 2024. Members raised detailed questions on transparency and public financial management. Both parties agreed to maintain close collaboration and hold follow-up meetings to reinforce fiscal discipline and accountability.
