Q&A with Auditor General on financial oversight, accountability, and transparency in public finances

Mogadishu, Somalia – 04 May 2025: The Budget, Finance, Planning, International Cooperation, and Oversight Committee of the House of the People held a question-and-answer session with the Auditor General of the Federal Government, Advocate Ahmed Issa Gutale. Chaired by Hon. Abdi Ibrahim Warsame (Qawdhan), the session focused on strengthening cooperation between Parliament and the Office of the Auditor General in areas of financial oversight, public accountability, and transparency in government financial management. The Chairperson emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to uphold fiscal integrity.
